Coming This Weekend...

Before you see the Narnia movie this summer, be sure to tune in to the Prince Caspian radio drama from Focus on the Family Radio Theatre!

This exciting story tells the tale of an evil king who threatens the life of Narnia's rightful king - the young Prince Caspian. The adventure begins on May 2 on HIS KIDS RADIO. You'll be able to join Peter, Edmund, Susan, Lucy for fantastic adventures four times each week!

Tune in for this wonderful family story Friday at 9pm, Saturday at 3:30pm, Sunday at 2pm, and Tuesday at 12:30pm (all times eastern). Be sure to tell your friends and let us know what you think about the show!

Hey - It's Earth Day!

Have you ever started reading the Bible from the very beginning? After you get past the Table of Contents, you'll find the book of Genesis and the story of how God created the world and everything in it.

After He created the plants and the trees, the flowers and birds, the creatures of the sea and the land, He saw that it was good. Just think of all of the great things that God gave us to enjoy - the waves on the beach, the beautiful flowers in spring time, and all of the amazing animals that roam the Earth.

This planet is a great gift that God has given to us, and that's why we need to take care of it. Since today is Earth Day, it's the perfect time to take a look at some of our habits and see how we can make a positive difference.

Think of some of the things that you do each day and how they impact the planet. Are there some ways that you can help keep it clean and healthy? Maybe you can recycle old newspapers or homework assignments that you no longer need. Maybe you can take a bike ride around the neighborhood and pick up soda cans for recycling. Or, gather your parents and some friends to help plant a few trees or flowers.

Dean-O is in the Prayer Chair!

April is here, and that means we've got someone new in the HIS KIDS RADIO Prayer Chair! This month, we're hoping you'll pray for some fun folks from California - Dean-O and the Dynamos!

Dean-O and his crew have been performing for kids and their families for many years, with a large focus in Southern California and other areas across the country. This year, they're pushing their ministry into high gear - by performing more than 75 concerts and giving away more than 25,000 CDs. In the coming months, they're also doing some fun things through their website, including downloads, music videos, and a whole lot more!

As you're praying for Dean-O and crew this month, here are a few simple requests:

Pray that they will have courage and strength to do God's will.

Pray that they will be given a gift of land to accomplish some new and exciting projects.

Pray that they will come in contact with several others who have a passion for reaching kids for Christ and that those people will be able to help Dean-O's ministry through prayer and financial support.
