BRAINY BIRD - When Yosuke the parrot flew out of his cage and got lost, he did exactly what he had been taught. He told his name and his address to a stranger who was willing to help. Police rescued the parrots two weeks ago. After spending one night at the police station, he was transferred to a veterinarian's office. He wouldn't speak to the police officers, but started chatting after a few days with the vet. He told the vet his name and provided his full home address, right down to the street number. And then, he started singing songs. The bird was returned to his family, who said they had been teaching the parrot his name and address for about two years. (2008-05-26)
EXPENSIVE LUNCH - It's a hamburger for those on steak budget. A Manhattan restaurant is offering a burger for $175. The pricey burger is made of Kobe beef. It comes with rare black truffles, goose liver and Gruyere cheese. And it's all topped with gold flakes. Wall Street Burger Shoppe co-owner Heather Tierney says the upscale burger often gets ordered by businessmen who want to have a meeting or impress their friends. (2008-05-23)
