The End of the Year is Near!

If you're anything like my son, you're probably counting down the days to the end of the school year. Here at HIS KIDS RADIO, we're looking at the end of another kind of year.

May 31 marks the end of our fiscal year. As we get ready to close the books on another great year of ministry, we need to hear from as many families as possible; families that believe in the ministry and outreach of this one-of-a-kind radio station and website.

We hope you'll consider making a gift to HIS KIDS RADIO yet this week, so we can continue to provide great music and programs that help kids across the country and around the world grow closer to Christ. All gifts received between now and the end of the week will be DOUBLED, thanks to a very generous donor (up to $10,000).

Click here to donate securely online, or print our "Letter Month" comment card and return it by May 31.

Thanks in advance for your support of HIS KIDS RADIO, as we strive to reach the next generation with God's love today, and for years to come!

Sponsor A Day!

Every day, we hear from kids and families around the world who tune in to the faith and fun of HIS KIDS RADIO. Many of them call or write to share stories of what God is doing in their lives through the radio station and the website.

It's always a lot of fun to hear these comments, like the one we got from four-year old Mikayla and her family from Minnesota:

"Your station helps mom and dad instill good values in my life, so I can do God's work. Thank you so much for thinking of kids and having a channel for them. We need more of this and less "junk" on radio and TV. Thank you!"

Did you know that HIS KIDS RADIO is a listener-supported ministry? It takes a lot of gifts from families just like yours to keep the music and programs on the air and online. One way that you can get involved is by sponsoring a day on the station.

For less than $1 a day, your family can sponsor any date that you choose (like a birthday, anniversary, Mother's Day, etc.) We'll help you put together an announcement that will air at least 10 times that day, to help you celebrate your special occasion.

Click here to learn more about the HIS KIDS RADIO Daysponsor program, or to give a gift of any amount to help fund this important media ministry. Thanks in advance for your prayer and financial support - God is using your gifts to enrich the lives of children all over the world!

Wow ... 19 years!

Please rejoice with us as we celebrate the 19th Birthday of HIS KIDS RADIO -- launched on this date in 1989 from a back corner of 91.3 WCSG in Grand Rapids, MI.

This picture of Buddy-Dodd and a young listener was taken during a studio recording in 1991. (Is that the last time he wore a tie?) :-)

We're also thankful for a special "birthday" gift received in today's mail -- a $1,000 donation to help keep the station going strong. Parents & Grandparents ... since you also believe in the ministry of HIS KIDS RADIO, would you thoughtfully consider a one-time or monthly gift of support?

Thanks, in advance, for your much-needed and much-appreciated generosity!

Happy Birthday!

Birthdays are great, aren’t they? Especially when they’re viewed through the eyes of a child. Our youngest just celebrated his fourth year of life on this earth, reminding us that the smiles, snuggles and simplicity of childhood are certainly something to be cherished!

HIS KIDS RADIO is also observing a couple birthdays. It’s hard to believe that our full-time Christian radio station for kids turns 18 in October. Some of the big kids that began listening in the late 80s now have children of their own who are tuning in!

Also, our web site -- HisKids.net -- is one year old. Over the past twelve months we’ve been blessed with 500-thousand visits, 20-million hits, and have served enough online audio to keep one child listening for 31 years non-stop!

Reflecting on God’s faithfulness to HIS KIDS RADIO, we’re most thankful for the changed lives. Gabrielle in Michigan wrote this week to say, “I’ve been listening to HIS KIDS all my life and it’s taught me to love Christ.”

A boy named Alexander recently asked us to play Trading My Sorrows (for the Joy of the Lord). He lives in Nigeria and wants to thank Jesus for making a difference in his mom’s life, helping her take better care of the family even though she is HIV positive.

Multiply these stories many times over and you’ll begin to grasp the amazing impact God is having through this unique media ministry, across the country and around the world. It’s very exciting and humbling at the same time.

Please understand that HIS KIDS RADIO stays on the air through a unique partnership with families that listen and others who care. We greatly appreciate your interest and ask you to consider sending a generous gift to help continue God’s work in the lives of these precious children.

For HIS Kids,

Dodd J. Morris
